Ben Birch

Ben has a strong academic background in the conservation field and completed a Master of Research (MRes) in Ecology and Environment, specialising on the impacts of agricultural conversion in the Colombian Amazon, as well as a BSc in Ecology and Conservation Biology at the University of Sheffield. Prior to working for Adonis Blue Environmental Consultants, he was employed as a research associate and provided technical support in data analysis within the School of Biosciences at the University of Sheffield. He brings strong skills in research, data science, and writing, as well as practical conservation experience undertaken both in the UK, monitoring endangered birds of prey, and research overseas, assessing the impacts of selective logging on bioacoustic diversity in Malaysian Borneo. Ben is part of the Nature-based Solutions team, and brings expertise in GIS, Carbon analysis, and Biodiversity Net Gain.
