KWT Consultancy Services is part of the Kent Wildlife Trust Group, an independent ecological consultancy that provides in depth and robust ecological and land management advice, but shares the same mission based values of Kent Wildlife Trust. All profits are returned for conservation work to benefit the people and wildlife of Kent.
Our clients are developers, industry, infrastructure contractors, statutory partners, landowners, community organisations and individuals.
We have a land management, ecology and design team who work with major clients in the following areas:
Nature Based Solutions
KWT Consultancy Services supports your work in enhancing natural resources to deliver biodiversity net gain, carbon storage and nutrient neutrality. We undertake advice, guidance, surveys, designs and fully costed habitat enhancement and land management plans as well as offering BNG solutions by working with our parent Trust and partners, supporting a Nature Recovery Network Strategy for Kent.
Industrial Land Use
Ecological and land management advice and practical conservation to enhance land owned by industry. We have worked with clients Ridham Dock and Richborough on projects such as this.
We have supported major road and rail infrastructure projects such as Heathrow and Network Rail with advice, surveys, design and management plans.
Developer Led Work
Supporting development teams such as Berkeley Homes, IWADE and Redrow with ecological advice and design for natural solutions to Biodiversity Net Gain, Nutrient Neutrality and Carbon Capture.
Wildlife Trust Consultancy Work
KWT Consultancy Services work with our Wildlife Trust Consultancy colleagues such as Surrey Wildlife Trust Ecological Services, EcoNorth and Middlemarch regionally and nationally.
Land management advice
Support for industry, development, landowners and farm owners with land management advice woodland management plans and whole farm plans. We have worked with landowners across Kent on whole farm plans, woodland management and wetland creation.
Running invasive species programmes and intern programmes for statutory partners and the marine industry.
Undertaking all aspects of ecological advice for planning, major developments, infrastructure and community schemes for clients that include Ashford Borough Council, Maidstone and Tunbridge wells hospitals and design firms across Kent.
